November 28, 2001-10:41 a.m. Winter Strikes Sa-land! I would like to propose a new law here in the state of Texas, y'all. I favor a law wherein people who have no practical knowledge of the freezing temperature of water are not allowed to drive in winter. It was 34 degrees this morning on my commute into work. People were driving 20 miles per hour across bridges without even a hint of ice on them. People! At 34 degrees there will be no ice. Even on bridges!
