September 22, 2004-9:06 p.m. I may choke the reportinator to death before he is able to start his new job. Today we were very busy and there was lots of work. He spent the day composing an email telling us what steps would need to be taken "on or before October 1." That's his last day in our department. Don't ask me what those steps are because that was as much as I could stomach of the email. Then he spent the afternoon tweaking the moronic reports. And he stayed late doing that. He told the director that he was doing it gratis. He needed to be since no one asked him to do that and me and the other girl had to stay late ourselves to finish things. When he did leave he said, "It's amazing how much you can get accomplished when you ignore the world and do what you need to do."
