As you know, I've been trying to adopt a more heart-healthy/non-cholesterol-laden diet.

As painful as this pursuit is for me, it is made even more so by the cutification (if that's not a word it damned well should be) of these foods. I guess the makers never considered that their customers would be predominantly adults. Either that or they assumed that the folks who are seeking heart-healthy foods are all fans of Precious Moments figurines and other cloyingly sweet items.

I implore the makers of these heart-healthy foods to stop defying all logic by assuming that only daft, sentimental and simplistic people are their customers. For the most part their customers are, in fact, type-A, curmugeonly people (not unlike our Sa)who can barely swallow the cute little hearts they put in the cereal.

**This will be the entry most remembered for the number of times I said "heart-healthy."**
