September 01, 2004-5:36 a.m. How many drinks would you have to consume before you were drunk enough not to notice that the passenger in your truck had lost his head during the journey home? This man was driving along at lord knows what break-neck speed when his truck went off of the road and side-swiped a guide wire on a telephone pole. The passenger in his truck had his head out the window at the time and was decapitated. The man drove home and parked the truck in the driveway and went inside and fell asleep. A neighbor walking his child discovered the body and called police. The driver came to the door when the police arrived in the same blood covered clothing he was wearing the night before and still visibly drunk. They retraced the route the man had taken home and found his friend's head along with the side mirror to the truck lying near the telephone pole.
