September 18, 2002-10:20 p.m. Today at work, we were given a document to complete entitled �Employee Development Plan.� Can I get a resounding groan from everyone? Part of the paper is devoted to current position development�like what we�d like to learn and how we would expect that new knowledge to impact our jobs. The second part of the sheet and the part that really piqued my interest was entitled, �Development Opportunities.� In this section they ask us to consider other jobs/positions/assignments we are interested in. Now we�re talking!
