November 03, 2001-9:45 a.m. Today In Sa-land our theme is name-calling. A friend and I recently found ourselves musing what the worst one-word description of another person might be. We went through a few options. �Jerk��That�s not that bad. �Creep��Slightly worse. �Cheap��Getting warmer. �Abrasive��Maybe. �Obnoxious��Not even. The eventual winner (thus far): Generic We determined �generic� was the worst thing you could say about a person because it implies someone completely devoid of character; a person without any flair or personal style, whatsoever.
