September 28, 2004-5:58 a.m. Highlight of my day yesterday? Finding out that the reportinator had come up to the office to work on Saturday only to find he couldn't work due to the computer update. He made some stupid comment to us yesterday afternoon about coming into work wearing a duck hat and on crutches. Like a lame duck. Ha Ha. Then proceeded to tell us that an incumbent who runs unopposed is a lame duck. Ha Ha. Not only not funny but completely incorrect! According to Merriam Webster a lame duck is:
Anyway, I guess his convoluted message was supposed to be that we wouldn't be getting any work out of him for the rest of the week. Where's the news flash in that one, buddy?
