July 25, 2002-9:00 p.m.

This evening after another rather harrowing day at work, I was at a stop light behind a vehicle like the one pictured immediately below.

The car in front of me was a metallic gray rather than red, but otherwise exactly like the one pictured here. It was so new that it still had the dealers license tag on it. The girl behind the wheel was soaking up the sun and the looks of obvious envy she received as she waited for the light to change.

While she was sitting there basking in the glow of her $32,000 German-made automobile, she began to tire of her chewing gum. She gingerly plucked the offending chiclet from her mouth, fully intending to toss it upon the pavement, when it became permanently affixed to her fingers.

Not even the BMW Z3 Roadster can make you look cool while youre hopelessly thrashing your arm out the window trying to get a wad of gum off of your fingers!
