January 06, 2005-5:37 a.m. It's cold as hell here in beautiful rural Northeast Texas. It's true what they say about Texas weather--if you don't like it, wait ten minutes and it will change. The high today will be 36. Tomorrow it will be 60. December 23 we had snow---sort of. This is my dad's ancient panel truck that he is turning into a street rod. As you can see, it's still pretty much a work in progress but he decorated it up and he and my mom drove it in a few local Christmas parades. I am descended from dorks. Daddy asked my mom to knit a holiday sweater for the greyhound hood ornament on the panel truck. You can't see it very well in this picture but the greyhound is wearing a small red sweater. **Disclaimer: All characters in this diary are fictional.
